I am currently a senior in college majoring in industrial engineering with a minor in computer science. Originally, I am from Cincinnati, Ohio although I currently live in Chicago. Since high school I have been excited by programming and equally distressed by the lack of women in the field of computer science and engineering in general. Starting my freshman year of college I have been highly involved in the Society of Women Engineers and one of my personal missions is to strive to promote the future of women in engineering disciplines. Through working as a part of FadingRed, I am continuously stretching myself and learning new skills. While studying hard, I am currently helping to plan a large scale website concept that will hopefully be up in the next year.
